Loomery is a digital product agency, for tech-powered businesses. We are a team of strategic makers partnering with you to build, learn and innovate at pace, to create next generation digital products. 

Loomery teams are making and learning with Aviva, JLR and Thredd, and are delivering quality products at pace while elevating digital capability for Tesco, MOO.com and the University of Bath.

Founders Brett and Tim are strategy and product leaders with over two decades of experience delivering technology for many of the most ambitious organisations in the world including Apple, The Met Office, Visa, NatWest and BP.

We know that teams who put things in users' hands earlier learn faster, waste less and deliver better results. We put pen to paper in the first days of a project, and prioritise making over powerpoint.

The role

As Senior Marketing Executive, you will play a pivotal role in developing strategic marketing plans to promote the Loomery brand and attract new customers. 

Working closely with the growth team, you will be executing numerous different marketing activities from organising events to creating content for our channels - and everything in between! In the future, there will be opportunities to progress to manager level.

Responsibilities include;

  • Content - Crafting copy that can be utilised across our website, social and newsletter. This includes diving into our case studies and creating stories that can be used by the growth team.
  • Events - Organising online panel events as well as executing roundtables or client dinners, from start to finish. 
  • Campaign management - Develop and implement creative marketing strategies to build brand awareness and engage our target audiences.
  • Paid ads - Manage and optimise digital marketing campaigns across various platforms (mainly LinkedIn).
  • Marketing data using our CRM (Hubspot) - Monitor performance to continuously improve marketing efforts and guide future approach.
  • General support of new business initiatives and tactics.

Salary: £35k 

About you

We are looking for a Senior Marketing Executive who is excited about joining a rapidly expanding agency to hit the ground running and drive our next phase of growth. 

A bit about you… You’ve been working in a marketing team for an agency, technology organisation or consultancy and you’re looking to step up into your next role.

You’ll be;

  • Proactive and a self starter
  • Able to wear several hats 
  • Have top notch organisational skills
  • Excellent written and visual communication skills
  • Interested in technology, AI and spatial computing 
  • 3+ years experience within the B2B sector
  • Able to travel to London for events and meetings

Loomery is a 4 year old company, still in start-up mode.

Flexibility in where we work

The WFH experiment has been great for some, awful for others. We know we value time together face-to-face, in our experience it’s invaluable for building lasting teams.

What we’re doing - We work from home most of the week and work from our Bloomsbury office 1-2 days per week (though you're welcome to use it more). We’ll buy you everything you need to work from home successfully, whether that’s a new router, a lava lamp, or a standing desk.

Flexibility in how we work

Everyone has different needs and demands on their time. We want Loomery to be inclusive for those with caring responsibilities or health issues. As parents of young children we know how important it is to make time for growing families too. Sometimes work shouldn’t come first.

What we’re doing - We’re very open to conversations about flexible working hours and novel working arrangements. We also offer a generous maternity and paternity leave policy for all full-time employees who have passed their probation period.

Creating a diverse team

Diverse organisations make for better products, a better workplace, and contribute to a fairer society. As two white male founders we’re committed to building a diverse team and creating a supportive environment where everyone can do their best work.

What we’re doing - We are taking advice on reaching under-represented groups. We will engage a partner to help design Loomery for inclusion. When it comes to hiring, we are using a wide pool of sources to fill this and other roles and prioritising lived experience over university degrees or certifications.

Leaving the planet better than we found it

Everyone needs to do more to address the climate crisis, and even though our impact is still relatively small, taking action starts at home.

What we’re doing - As a first step we offset all the carbon we use. We’re also working through the process of certifying as a ‘pending B-corp’.

3. Startups are fun, but a bit unpredictable:

You'll be joining a young company and this comes with a number of considerations that we'd like to be transparent about:

  • Early-stage companies are unpredictable and a bit risky. There are open questions and unvalidated assumptions in what we're doing.
  • Change is continuous and by design. If everything goes to plan we’ll be a very different business in 12 months, and unrecognisable in 24. We find that exciting, hopefully you do too.
  • Progression isn’t a straight line. Lots of unpredictable factors will positively and negatively affect both your progression and the progression of the company. If you’re excited by the opportunity to face varied and rapidly-changing growth opportunities, then this is the place for you!
